2015 marked the 125th anniversary of NDSU, a student-focused, land grant research institution. The NDSU Libraries celebrated this milestone in a spirit of renewal and reinvestment, securing a partial renovation and refurbishment on the Main Library, including increasing our book collection with one-time funds and finding our place firmly in the University’s strategic planning process.

Today, servicing a student population of more than 15,000, the library houses over 1 million items including books, periodical subscriptions, maps, government documents, audio-visual materials and microforms. The NDSU Libraries offer unique special collections including the Germans from Russia Heritage Collection and the University Archives to name a few. We provide learning spaces for instruction and study spaces for collaborative or individual study.
