Extension


NDSU Extension’s mission is to empower North Dakotans to improve their lives and communities through science-based education. With a presence in every North Dakota county, Extension provides education that improves the economic, health, and community conditions for North Dakotans while strengthening agriculture, stimulating communities, developing youth potential, and protecting the environment.

Giving Day philanthropic support will fund:

  • Rural Leadership North Dakota — a fund to support this 18-month dynamic leadership development program for men and women who are dedicated to strengthening agriculture, their community, and the state of North Dakota for the future
  • NDSU Extension Service — a fund for staff scholarships, fellowships, awards, and professional development
